~Drab to Fab~

With the new shoe came (New Space) an extra 3000 sq. ft of space ..and grand total of 4000 sq ft . Though it was feeling a wee small due to life in the Pacific Northwest...

..... with the heat being in the 105+ degree range and the poor air quality due to all the Oregon Fires ...playing out is not an option. 

What is a mum to do with two bored little details ???  

 So , I went looking around the farm to see what I could do to make the Summer days not so mundane . I found the kids old play house...the same play house the first batch of kids played with...the poor thing is pushing 20 years old and boy it looks it...Sun baked ,faded and stained ...

After a good washing it awaited its new make over. I am a HUGE fan of spray paint...It is M.A.G.I.C. !!!! After a few coats of magic and dry time...it was time to move it inside and find it a new home.

Once in its place ,down stairs off the dining-room  ...it looked perfect...after we added all the finishing touches....the two littlest details of the Estate were in love!!!! Not too mention ,it is a huge hit with their buddies that come over to play...I simply adore watching the imagination of little kids...so all in all..this was a fun project for sure!!

 And the little man child is already making plans for decorating the house for Halloween...I love this kid!!!❤

~Moving~

                     The time is fast approaching where the boxed are packed and once                                                                   again a moving truck in the driveway 

  

       As we head to a bigger better  "New Shoe" ...We leave behind the home I finished my last surprise pregnancy in ... we brought Bea home  from a nail biting time at the hospital  ....Family Dinners and visits with girlfriends ...hours of chats on the phone long distance ....Birthdays and Holidays .... in-depth conversations over fresh french press coffee and homemade lemon bars.... good times ...bad times...news that would change our world forever...and it did. 

 

    Even though we have since out grown this place...it was Our Home for the moment .... 

                                                         And I will miss it .

             Got to love how this little lady is and how this toy is doing "ONE MORE"  tour of duty .
