As I stay behind to attend to the family's needs with Football games,Band,Homework ,Youth Group,School dances, a little detail missing his father and shopping for Halloween costumes....
Greg is at Fort Jackson in Columbia South Carolina with a few of our daughters....
Our daughter Leila was hours away from being finished with basic training on Wednesday... 2 of our girls traveled cross country with Greg to spend this special time with our newest soldier.
Family Day was spent catching up...and having a beloved first cup of coffee in weeks!!
Thursday {Today} brought her graduation ceremony....
We are all Very proud of our soldier...and she looks rather sharp in her dress blues.
We were able to Skype and have coffee together ...{well sort of}
Next stop for Leila {The World} and AIT school in Georgia for the next 5 months ,and after that Airborne school.
So , As Greg holds down the fort on his end.....I'm keeping the home fires
burning.
